xtorrent

Posted by Michael Dale on Mon, 03 Sep 2007 10:23 PM

The best RSS reader I've used so far is newsfire on the mac.

Just last night we tried xtorrent, a bittorrent program written by the same guy. It is definitely up to the standard of newsfire, great interface and the search works too!

Xtorrent 1.1 was just released so it might be a good time to buy.

The internet was connected today. So I've got the web server temporality going. I'm going to replace it with something else as it is too noise and doesn't work correctly.

PHPBB 3.0

PHPBB (a popular forum software) has been stuck at version 2.x for a long time now. It has been plagued with many security issues, a long with poor W3C standards.

Version 3 (formally 2.2) which has been running years late is now almost ready for beta testing.

I wonder if this new version will bring phpbb up to standards.
