I've just done a small upgrade to the search function. You should now be able to search through comments. At this stage you can only do one or the other. There are a few little things I need to work on, but is seems okay.
HTML allowed: <a href="" title="" rel=""></a> <b></b> <blockquote cite=""></blockquote> <em></em> <i></i> <strike></strike> <strong></strong> <li></li> <ol></ol> <ul></ul>
ie: <b>bold</b>

Yeah I have been meaning to do that too. I'd like my search to just automatically search posts, and comments - without having that radio button option.
However, I haven't figured out a way to do a fulltext search over two separate tables...
